Padron peppers

Here is a suggestion for an starter or evening snack.

There are many ways to make the padron peppers, mine is quite simple.

Heat the pan and place the peppers padron only with salt, stir them to be sure that aren’t cooked on one side only. When they begin to get browned remove and leave to stand. The salt that is left in the pan should not be used.
Just before serving place the peppers padron again in preheated pan, put salt and a little olive oil and stir for 1 to 2 minutes.

 And, they are ready to serve.

Pimentos Padron

Aqui está uma sugestão para uma entrada ou petisco de final de dia.

Existem muitas formas de fazer os pimentos padron, a minha é bastante simples.

Aqueça bem a frigideira coloque os pimentos padron só com sal grosso, vá mexendo para não ficarem cozinhados de um só lado. Quando começarem a ficar alourados retire e deixe repousar. O sal que ficar na frigideira não deve ser aproveitado.
Um pouco antes de servir coloque os pimentos padron novamente na frigideira pré-aquecida, coloque sal grosso e um fio de azeite e mexa durante 1 a 2 minutos.

E eis que estão prontos a servir.

Shrimps with red onion and "Cremant Bruit"

This recipe excels in simplicity and flavor.


250g peeled raw shrimp
250ml "Cremant Bruit"
1 small red onion
2 clove of garlic
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon of pepper Cayene Tea Beans
salt to taste

Heat the frying pan and place a tablespoon of olive oil and sauté the shrimp for 3 or 4 minutes (or until almost cooked) and set aside. In the same pan place the rest of the olive oil, red onion, garlic and pepper and brown. Then reduce the power by half and place the "Cremant Bruit", reduce the sauce until half.

To finish mix well the previously cooked shrimps with the reduction and place on a plate or platter to serve.
